Most Efficient Split System in North America! Updated SEER Rating of 26.1 currently makes Daikin's Quaternity the most efficient split system in North America. Daikin AC is pleased to announce that Quaternity (model number RXG09HVJU -- FTXG09HVJU) has been rerated to achieve a SEER rating of 26.1 from the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), making it the most energy efficient single room system in North America. The Quaternity system, initially introduced in 2009, has been rerated to better reflect the actual performance of the system. The Quaternity system comprising of indoor unit (FTXG) and outdoor unit (RXG) is available in 3 sizes with nominal cooling capacities of 9000, 12000 and 15000 Btu/hr, with SEER levels respectively of 26.1, 24.2 and 21.0. "The new efficiency ratings of up to 26.1 SEER now position Quaternity not only as the best in class for features but now for efficiency too," said Chris Bellshaw, directorof product and engineering. "Quaternity combines a number of innovative features that offer the end user complete control of the temperature, dehumidification and air quality of the environment it serves on a year-round basis."
